Lauren earned her bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Salve Regina University. After college, she lived in Copenhagen, Denmark and loved being part of the international community there. She is currently working on her master’s in education at Northeastern University. When not working or traveling, she spends much of her time playing rugby for Boston Women’s RFC.

Ned graduated in 2005 from Phillips Academy Andover after attending SYA Italy his junior year, where he fell in love with the country's language and its people. After his sophomore year at Stanford University, Ned decided to fully engage his passion for Italy and decided to study directly at the University of Bologna for two years. Having graduated from Stanford in 2011 with a degree in History, he currently lives in Boston where he spends his free time cooking delicious Italian food for friends.

Corianne was raised in the suburbs of Chicago and studied abroad with SYA her junior year of high school. She decided to study abroad again her junior year of college in France and China and just recently graduated from Wellesley College as a French and East Asian Studies double major. She is an avid traveler, lover of animals and is usually busy following some new exercise fad.

Susanna is an alumna of SYA Italy '07, Waynflete School and Connecticut College, where she double majored in International Relations and Italian. When she's not using the espresso maker she nicknamed Andromeda, Susanna can be found cooking, catching up on current events and listening to music - Italian or otherwise. Being part of SYA in a new role is terrific and she looks forward to once again meeting new people and visiting new places through SYA. Avanti!
